Schnaps were formed in 2004 by Miha Ovca (bass), Tjaša Slevec (drums) and Blaž Sever (guitar, vocal) who has later on played with Nikki Louder. Together they recorded and self-published three albums. In the time of absence of the guitarist and vocalist Schnaps recorded two more albums and were playing concerts as a drum and bass duo. At the end of 2008 Marko Kos came into the band as a new guitarist and vocalist. Since then Schnaps are once again a trio.
In all their time of music making and band's interchanges Schnaps have in their core stayed the same. Their music is direct and loud, spiced up with simple lyrics and their songs short and striking. Punk that stretches from rock on one side and noise on the other. |
