Barley Modern are Žiga Petkovšek (vocal, guitar), Jan Vihar (drums) and Miha Kononenko (bass). The band formed in 2008 and became noticeable to the public and to CTR collective during their Klubski maraton tour organized by Radio Študent in the fall of 2009.
Barley Modern's music leans on the new new (new) wave of rock'n'roll tradition which is innovatively and uniquely incorporated into their music. With their uncompromising and self-confident performance on the stage Barley Modern can persuade every listener.
